I am living in Notting Hill, London I have 3 children, I was married for 47 years my wife passed away. I used to play tennis for 10 years!
Most of my life I was working for a living to support my family, from a porter, coaching tennis, managers, running my own business – such as a flower shop and vegetable and coffee shop, chauffeuring, body guards, and managed the mint casino.
During my retirement I was a residents’ representative in my area. I was involved in TMO Tenant Management Organisations, during that time I went to Oxford Brookes University to do my training as a housing practitioner in 1996.
I was the founder member of the North Kensington Sports Association formed in 1969.
By the age of 65 I started Painting, during my younger years, family commitments and work prevented such pastimes and hobbyist pursuits on my part. I am now considering artistically pursuing expressing my feelings in abstract; this is a good way of showing my developing passion for Painting.
I am an Artist doing Paintings, abstract and landscapes, on occasion doing replication of a photo by special request, more recently I have been doing some paintings of an objective nature, in particular some cake designs.
When the Film Notting Hill was being produced, I assisted the production crew by allowing them to use our meeting room as a base, and the communal garden also being used in the filming.
